Add-ons Modules for Cell* Software

More advanced and non-standard light microscopy techniques require specialised equipment and imaging tools that are not included in the standard imaging software packages. Starting with Cell^D ,all members of the Olympus Cell* family can be combined with additional software modules. These all work together seamlessly enabling you to assemble the custom-tailored software solution you need for your own speci?c application.

Cell* Add-ons Modules:-

  Track IT

Time-lapse imaging reveals the mobility of vesicles or entire cells. Moving objects can be detected automatically and tracked over the course of time. The results are presented as movies of object tracks with charts and histograms displaying velocity, indication of direction, path length measurements and distances. 

FRET enables measurement of the amount of ?uorescence transferred from one ?uorochrome molecule to another, thus indicating the distance between them. This method requires the acquisition of images with different excitation and emission wavelengths and sophisticated correction algorithms. 

  Well Navigation

This extension supports basic and fully automatic scanning of standardised
microtitre plates. Integrated calibration routines for offset and slant correction of the microtitre plates, together with the integrated motorised stage control guarantee exact alignment and positioning. The software makes it easy to de?ne complex work processes. These need only be established just once and can then be repeated at the push of a button. Process series can be for entire microtitre plates, single wells or clusters of wells.

   Particle Analysis

The particle detection function is a powerful tool for intensity threshold-based evaluation of image particles.  It performs size-?ltering particle detection, particle-speci?c measurements and evaluation of regions of interest or object classes. Selective data and object analysis is undertaken using advanced particle and sheet management.

  3-D Reconstruction

Biological samples are three-dimensional objects which can be observed using Z-stack acquisition. This reconstruction tool complements the standard Cell^P Voxel-Viewer and offers all functions needed for processing, displaying and evaluating three-dimensional images.
